Calling all trainees!  The 2019 NextGen Retreat Science committee would like to invite you all to submit an abstract to present a talk at the second annual trainee retreat.  We are calling this session: The Trainee Ted Talks!

The theme of this year’s retreat is the “Unconventional” and as such we are looking for big-picture talks that explore the interesting or unconventional ideas or approaches to science.  Specifically, we are looking for presentations that are suitable for a scientific audience with a wide range of backgrounds and interests. We also welcome abstracts outside of your direct field on a topic that you feel is extremely important and are passionate about. Brainstorm a presentation you might envision as a Ted Talk and deliver that talk to other Broad Trainees!

Abstracts submissions should be less than 300 words and are due by August 1, 2019. Talks will be selected based on 5 categories: impact, innovation, clarity, science, and passion.
