The NextGen Association of Postdocs and Grad Students, in collaboration with the Office of Academic Affairs, would like to invite you to a special seminar, “NOT Networking 101: Building Relationships for Success,” presented by Joanne Kamens, PhD, Executive Director, AddGene, on June 22, 2015, 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the Yellowstone Room. An interactive networking reception will follow the seminar.

Networking has gotten a really bad name these days. I take your card, you take my card and then we don’t call each other. This workshop is designed to reintroduce you to how strong professional relationships can be necessary for most people to succeed in their careers. It will provide practical tools for meeting people and for nurturing new and established connections.
